Cheats for
Rust punishes time more than skill, and that shapes its cheat market. A wipe resets everything every week or two, which means the value of a build is measured in how much grind it removes before the next reset: nodes found faster, stashes located, raids planned, recoil removed so the gunfights at the end of that grind go your way.
Facepunch runs Easy Anti-Cheat and backs it with an unusually active ban-wave culture — large batches rather than instant kicks, often timed to hit before a wipe. That delay matters: a build can feel safe for a week and then take the account anyway. It is also why Rust players, more than most, run cheats on alternate Steam accounts and treat the game cost as part of the price.

Each of these has its own page with only the Rust builds that carry that feature.
Recoil control is the entry point. Rust weapons have fixed spray patterns, so a mouse macro that reverses the pattern turns the AK from a skill weapon into a point-and-click one. These are the cheapest and most common entries here, several of them free, and they never read game memory — they replay mouse movement, which is why they survive longer than injected builds.
Full builds add what a macro cannot: player ESP with health, stash and node markers, sleeper detection, and an aim component that accounts for projectile travel. The jump in capability is large and so is the jump in risk, because these read the game process directly.
Raid tooling sits to the side: cost calculators, base planners and loot route helpers that run entirely outside the game. Useful, free, and not detectable because there is nothing to detect.
Not the software, usually — the behaviour. Finding buried stashes with no visible search, hitting shots through tree cover, and beelining to the exact wall of a base are all visible to the people you are raiding, and Rust's community reports aggressively. Demos are recorded server-side, and admins on larger servers review them.
The practical pattern among people who keep accounts is to use ESP for information rather than for impossible plays: knowing a base is occupied is useful and invisible, shooting a sleeper through three walls is neither.
Rust updates on the first Thursday of each month, and that monthly patch is what breaks builds. Weekly wipes do not change the code, so a build working on Tuesday still works on Friday; the monthly force wipe is the date to watch.
Entries here show their last verified date for exactly this reason. If the date is older than the most recent monthly update, assume the build needs a rebuild before it is worth loading.
FAQ
They can be. A macro that replays mouse input does not touch the game's memory, which makes it hard to detect directly, but EAC and server admins look at input patterns and spray consistency. Perfectly identical sprays across many clips are a flag.
Facepunch batches bans rather than kicking instantly, which hides what triggered the detection and catches more accounts per wave. A build can appear to work for weeks before the wave lands.
Often better than on official ones, because many community servers run additional plugins but fewer active admins. Some run their own anti-cheat plugins on top of EAC — check the server before assuming.
It marks buried stashes and sleeping bags that are invisible without digging. It is also the most obvious cheat to the victim, because nobody finds a buried stash in open terrain by accident.
Usually not — Rust is a paid game and EAC bans tie to both the account and hardware in persistent cases, which is why spoofer entries sit next to the cheat entries here.
