Cheats for
GTA V is two different cheating environments sharing one executable. In story mode, trainers are harmless offline tools that nobody polices — spawn what you like. In GTA Online, the same menu touches a live economy that Rockstar has spent a decade defending, and the consequences run from rolled-back money to permanent account loss.
Rockstar added BattlEye to GTA Online and periodically purges modded accounts, but the more common outcome is quieter: money removed, items stripped, a temporary suspension. The menus that survive are the ones built around protection rather than griefing — blocking other players' crashes and kicks instead of causing them.

Each of these has its own page with only the GTA V builds that carry that feature.
Protection suites are the most defensible category: anti-crash, anti-kick, anti-teleport and session filters that stop other menu users from ruining your lobby. Many players run a menu for this alone, having been crashed one too many times in a public session.
Recovery options — money drops, unlock-all, stat edits — are what most people buy for, and they are also what triggers rollbacks. Rockstar's economy checks compare account progression against transaction history, and large sudden gains are the clearest flag there is.
Griefing tools exist and this catalog lists menus that include them, but they are the fastest route to reports and to being the reason somebody else quits the game.
FiveM roleplay servers run their own anti-cheat per server, usually written by the server's own developers, alongside server-side logs that record far more than Rockstar does. A menu that is fine in a public GTA Online lobby is detected in minutes on a serious RP server, because an admin is reading the logs.
The FiveM entries here are mostly Lua executors aimed at server scripting rather than public lobbies. Using one on an RP server you care about is a good way to lose a character you spent months building.
Story-mode trainers touch nothing online: no servers, no economy, no other players. If what you want is a sandbox with every vehicle and unlimited money, the single-player entries here carry no ban risk at all.
The only caveat is mechanical — a trainer built against one game version can crash after a Rockstar update, which is why the version on each page matters.
FAQ
No. Story mode is offline and Rockstar does not police it. Risk starts the moment a menu is loaded in GTA Online.
The usual sequence is removal of the money, then a temporary suspension, then a permanent ban for repeats. Large sudden balances are the most reliable trigger.
They are less likely to draw reports because they do not affect other players, but they still inject into a BattlEye-protected process. Lower risk, not zero.
Only entries marked for FiveM, and even then each server runs its own anti-cheat and logs. Treat RP servers as far stricter than public lobbies.
Title updates move memory offsets and change script structures. A menu built for the previous version will crash the game until it is rebuilt.
